[Women's Cross Country] BULLDOGS REPRESENTED AT NAIA CROSS COUNTRY NATIONALS

Charlotte, N.C. – Tennessee Wesleyan was represented by senior Jacob Simmons and the trio of senior Robbiccaa Williams, sophomore Hannah Rhodes, and junior Leah Chance at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships, held at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday (Nov. 21) morning.

On the men's side, Simmons finished 238rd overall with a time of 27:16.

Sophomore Geoffrey Kipchumba from William Carey University was the individual champion with a finishing time of 23:55. Oklahoma City University was the team champion, finishing with a total of 78 points.

On the women's side, Williams led the way for the Lady Bulldogs. Williams finished 108th overall with a time of 19:05. Coming in next for the Lady Bulldogs was Rhodes. Rhodes finished 154th overall with a finishing time of 19:26. Rounding out the finishers for Tennessee Wesleyan was Chance. Chance finished 190th overall with a time of 19:41.

Senior Kellian Hunt from Biola University was the individual champion with a finishing time of 17:16. Northwest Christian University was the team champion, finishing with a total of 98 points.
