[Men's Cross Country] Bulldogs finish 17thPublished by
LAWRENCE, Kan. - Tennessee Wesleyan was well represented in the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Meet as the Bulldogs placed 17th in their first ever team appearance at the National Championships. The 58th Annual NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships were held at at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas with 32 teams and 97 individual runners. Tennessee Wesleyan tallied a score of 491 to come in 17th. Roderick Bowman paced the Bulldogs with a 43rd-place finish with a time of 25:23.52 with Joseph Mullen was next in 102nd place in 25:55.09. The other finishers for Tennessee Wesleyan were: Jacob Simmons (26:23.22), Samuel Hawkins (26:30.63), Caleb Young (26:35.08), Tim Murphy (26:44.28) and Chad Whitehead (27:07.76).
