[Cross Country] Cross Country travels to Berry College Invitational[Women's Cross Country] Three Lady Bulldogs finish the season strongPublished by
The Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs traveled to Rome, GA for the Berry College Cross Country Invitational. The men's team finished in 7th place out of 15 teams running. The Lady Bulldogs finished 10th out of 13 teams.
Top runner for the Bulldogs was Hilary Cheruiyot who finished in 9th place. Sarah Bergin finished first for the Lady Bulldogs and 4th overall.
Cross Country's next meet will be on September 17th at the Carson Newman Challenge. For the first time in school history the Lady Bulldogs had three runners to compete in the NAIA National Championships at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas. In a field of 319 runners, TWC finished strong with Leah Chance finishing in a time of 20:00.89 and 193rd. Robbiccaa Williams ran the 5K in 20:11.02 and finished in 206th place.
